SUNDAYS ¡ A Sunday morning Adult Bible Class is led by Pastor Boyd. Please join us at 9 AM each Sunday morning for an informal discussion and study. The current study is on the book of Acts. Please come and invite others. The coffee pot is always on. We meet in the second floor meeting room.
¡ Another Sunday morning Bible Class -- Scripture Readings for the Week is also at 9 AM. The class meets in the library on the 2nd floor and is led by Pastor Linn.
¡ The Young Adult Sunday Bible Class is led by Matt Helmkamp and is for all college students and young adults 25 and under. The class meets Sunday mornings at 9 AM in the sanctuary basement across from the small kitchen.
¡ The High School Class’ topic is contemporary issues for young people. We meet Sundays at 9 AM. Please join us in the youth room. This class is led by Nick Garber and Michael Neal.
¡ A nursery for children 2 and under is available during Sunday School / Bible Class.
WEDNESDAYS The Wednesday evening adult class meets from 6:30 to 7:20 PM in the 2nd floor meeting room. Pastor Boyd leads this class. We break for the summer and resume in the fall. We also break for Lent and Advent.
HOME BIBLE STUDY Our Home Bible Study Group meets in various members' homes once a month on a Sunday evening at 7:00 PM. This group is led by Mark and Sharon Helmkamp.
JUNIOR CONFIRMATION Junior Confirmation class meets from 5:00 to 6:25 PM on Wednesdays during the school year. This class is a two-year program on Christian doctrine for children in grades seven and eight. This year confirmation was on Sunday, May 1.
PASTOR’S CLASS Pastor's classes are for prospective members; they also serve as a review of Biblical teachings for current members. Each series of six classes meets once a week. Each February and September marks the beginning of a series. All classes are taped for those who must miss a session. Usually the classes meet on Sundays following the service and include a light lunch. The next Pastor's Class will be in the fall.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL Vacation Bible School is held in the evenings in June, July, or August from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Classes are for children age three through those going into grade eight. VBS features study, songs, crafts, games, skits, treats, and more. At our 2011 VBS we will be exploring Hometown Nazareth: Where Jesus Was a Kid. It will be a week filled with God’s Word for literally everyone; all centered on Christ’s love for us!! We wouldn't want to do that without you! Everyone knows what it's like to hear your mom tell stories from your childhood. Can you imagine the kinds of stories Mary could tell? Take your kids back to Hometown Nazareth, where they'll stand up for their faith among people who doubt that the carpenter's son is really God's Son. We will have an exciting time in Nazareth! 2011 Visitors are
